The Best MCP Servers For Marketing Using Claude

TL;DR

Most marketers use Claude like a smart writing assistant. That’s useful, but it leaves the biggest advantage on the table. With MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, Claude can pull live data from Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, and your WordPress site, then actually reason about it. If you have a paid subscription with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Supermetrics, Windsor.ai or paid WordPress plan, you can add MCPs for those tools as well.

Instead of exporting five CSVs and building a pivot table, you can ask: “Which landing pages lost admissions-related clicks this month, and did paid search pick up the slack?” and get an answer grounded in your real numbers. I run SEO, paid search, and CRO for behavioral health and hospital clients, and these are the integrations I’d recommend, split into what’s free and what requires a subscription.

Free MCP Servers

Google Analytics 4

Google’s official server runs locally on your computer and connects Claude to the GA4 Data and Admin APIs. It covers account and property details, custom dimensions, standard reports, funnel reports, and realtime data. It’s the one I’d install first. Ask for sessions and conversions by landing page, channel splits, or period-over-period changes in plain English.

Tip: local servers can break when their underlying libraries update. If GA4 suddenly stops responding, a version conflict is the usual culprit, not your credentials.

Google Search Console

Unlike GA4, Search Console has no official MCP server, but the community has filled the gap well. AminForou’s mcp-gsc is built specifically for SEO analysis. The most useful prompt for healthcare sites: find queries with high impressions but low CTR. That’s your title tag and meta description rewrite list, generated in seconds.

Google Ads

So when I brief a page, I say explicitly that it does not need to follow conventional structure, format, copy length, or visual layout — that breaking from the expected pattern is the goal, not a risk. That one instruction changes what comes back. Without it, Claude reaches for the safest layout it knows. With it, Claude will propose a diagonal timeline instead of a card grid, a live simulator instead of a static stat block, sentence fragments instead of complete-sentence bullets — because I’ve removed the assumption that the conventional version is what I want.

Novamira

Novamira is an open-source WordPress plugin that turns your site into an MCP server with much deeper access. Claude can run PHP and WP-CLI commands, inspect the database, and edit files directly, so it builds and fixes things against your real site instead of handing you code to paste. The connection runs straight from Claude to your site, not through Novamira’s servers. I compare it to the MCP Adapter in detail below.

Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Calendar

These are available as built-in connectors in Claude and work with a standard Google account. They’re less flashy, but pulling a client’s brief from Drive or action items from an email thread with a single prompt can save time.

Canva and Figma

Both have free tiers and official connectors. Useful for turning campaign ideas into ad creative drafts or pulling design context from landing page mockups.

Paid MCP Servers

Semrush or Ahrefs

Two competitor and market analytics tools that are widely used. Pick whichever you already pay for. Both cover keyword research, competitor gaps, and backlink analysis. Ahrefs also tracks how brands show up in AI search responses a little more in-depth, which matters more every quarter for treatment centers competing on “near me” and insurance-related queries.

Supermetrics or Windsor.ai

If you manage multiple ad platforms across several clients, these unify Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, GA4, and hundreds of other sources behind one connection. You pay for convenience, but you skip the Google Cloud setup entirely.

WordPress.com MCP

If your site is hosted on WordPress.com rather than self-hosted, MCP access comes with paid plans. Self-hosted sites can use the same server through Jetpack with a Jetpack AI or Jetpack Complete plan.

Novamira premium tiers

The free Novamira plugin may be all you need, but paid tiers add specialized support for Elementor, Bricks, WooCommerce, and dozens of other plugins and workflows. Worth it if you build or maintain page-builder sites for clients.

Where to Start

If you’re new to this, start free: GA4 plus Search Console gives you the full organic picture, from impression to conversion. Budget about 15 minutes once per machine for the Google Cloud setup. Add Google Ads next, then pick your WordPress connection, then decide if a paid SEO tool or data aggregator is worth it for your client load.

A Note on HIPAA

In healthcare, especially behavioral health, keep anything that could contain protected health information out of your AI tools. That means no call tracking recordings, CRM intake records, or form submissions. Aggregate analytics, ad performance, and SEO data are the right inputs. The rule is simple: if it could identify a patient, it doesn’t go in. Give full-access tools like Novamira the same scrutiny, since they can read anything stored in your WordPress database, including form entries.
